BANALIZAÇÃO DO USO DE MEDICAMENTOS: CONSEQUÊNCIAS INCERTAS E PREOCUPANTES

Abstract

Segundo pesquisa realizada, em 1999, o percentual de pobres na população brasileira estava em torno de 34,9% (ou seja, 54,1 milhões de brasileiros), fato contrastante como o índice apresentado por nosso Pais, em ser um dos cinco maiores mercados farmacêuticos mundiais de venda de medicamentos, com receita anual de US$ 7,5 bilhões, embora estima-se que cerca de 70 milhões de pessoas não tem acesso a medicamentos.
